  • Digital Navigators 101

    The Digital Navigators 101 tutorial is designed to help new digital navigators learn the skills and resources needed to work with their communities. This tutorial was created in July 2024.

  • Digital Skills Training Program Toolkit

    The Digital Skills Training Program Toolkit is a resource for starting a digital navigator program. It includes sections on setting up a program, recruiting and training navigators, implementing, and measurement and evaluation.

  • Digital Resources Playlist

    YouTube videos from our Digital Access Community Coalition Calls and Tech Workshops. The Community Coalition Calls provide an opportunity to network and learn from practitioners around Idaho. Past topics include business and workforce support in libraries, tech support for patrons and staff, and teaching digital skills to older adults. Tech Workshops focus on improving tech skills for the library workforce. Past tech workshops have focused on answering tech questions (techspectations) and good customer service skills, understanding the fundamentals of AI, using a variety of AI tools, and making online board documents accessible.

  • Teaching Tech: Best Practices for Library Staff

    This tutorial is designed to help new and existing library staff teach technology. By the end of the tutorial, you will be able to narrow down a learner’s question to something manageable to help with, assist learners with short technology help interactions, and determine when to direct learners toward resources and how to hand them off.
